can i start a company or website while being employed in software companies like wipro,tcs or infosys ?

ANSWER TO THE ABOVE QUESTION I had the same doubt and i consulted my HR team regarding the same. They said it is fine and i had to declare this revenue in Income from other sources. And they said i would have to fill out a form declaring the company i own. It depends from company to company. You need to get in touch with the HR/ FInance team and discuss if the company policy allows it. I think it is fine as long as the company you own does not have a conflict of intrest with the company you are working for. I mean to say you should not be the owner of a software company and be working in anyther software company. Best to check with HR team about the kind of company/business you have.
